Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

No not bad not anything bad just sitting back keeping my
mouth shut to learn from the ones that know

Totally understand and have been watching the conversation. Sort of makes you not want to participate or fear participation in case you spell something wrong or say something wrong. Used to really like this thread, but there are only about 7 people who regularly reply and it's not always about chickens. There are plenty of more threads, though, so like you - just keeping the peace.

Quote: I typically never hide on this thread you have taken that out of
context I am sorry you feel that way this thread is actually great at helping me to learn
I grew up on a farm never had the animals as an adult till now old
and disabled have the chickens but it is a new game

I'm sorry. Please do jump in. I personally do listen to others, even if it doesn't seem like it sometimes, and have learned quite a few new things from others.

Most of us will listen to others we may not always agree but should listen

I guess my main concern was she found that from a few months back and now I do not even remember
what was being talked about

No worries, and I never take it personally. If I have a question (which I've had a few) I do throw it on the thread that it applies to and this site has helped a lot (I'm a very new, very small flock (4) chicken person). It would make me so nervous to have birds that are prized as perfect, I'm very happy with "mutts" (as it were), but have a special place in my heart for Orpingtons (have two of those). We're building a new coop (the first, old cheap one bought 3 years ago will not make it for another Winger here (mild as it is), so the hubs is taking it seriously and if we ever move - we'll never be a able to take this new coop with us - he's building Fort Knox for chickens.

I am really hoping for a little Indian Summer - just so my tomatoes all turn (have a bunch still green, but SO close) and the sunflowers (which I planted all around the run area (15 feet by 20 feet) all emerge. Fingers crossed.
