Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I fed pumpkins twice now no worms in the poop here

Off & on, when they have them & get pumpkin it is a nice vermifuge...I use it in between Eprinex, so the worms do not build up a resistance to the Eprinex.
Not all my birds have shown dead worms after pumpkin, and for the record I always feed Sweet Meats Squash, not pumpkin...not sure if there is any difference but I do know there is a higher sugar content in sweet meats...and the birds LOVE IT beyond love !
They will occupy themselves pecking til the squash is little but a paper thin shell of the skin left.

So would that be also my two EE with silver color be that way also
Correct, but you need a red rooster as well, so that you can easily see the color difference at hatching. Your Blue will produce too many black/blue chicks at hatch for easy color sexing. You can't see base color down if the whole chick is black or blue.

This is the trio that produced the red sexlinks.

Chicks are hatching early. Should be a peeping incubator by morning.

You are hatching this time of year too?
Put any hatching egg ads up yet ?

Not selling silkie eggs. The broody silkies do well raising babies any time of year. I put Ashes in with some hens so I can test breed for resessive white in those hens. Ashes drives me nuts because he's turned out to be a gorgeous cockerel with perfect wings. That's what i needed for partridge breeding. Not some white suddenly showing up in my breeding pens.

nope just me and my chickens here and the rest of the zoo

I believe she refers to us on the WET side of the state..my Dad calls us 'Mossbacks"

:lau
The moss on the roof is referred to as a "Chia Pet Roof"

:lau

And all is green here...even the side of the house !

I had at least two types of moss and a lichen growing on my pickup. Have that cleaned off now
