Well I'm handling it some every day and hope it's a girl for my pictures. I already have a white cockerel. If it's a boy, I'll decide later what to do.

They are all from partridge silkies. The 2 lighter background chicks with chipmunk are from a totally unrelated partridge hen. Her chicks always look like that. Her daughter throws normal looking chicks, so it wasn't inherited

The 4 normal partridge chicks will look normal. If there are girls in the light chipmunk, they will be sort of a cinnamon color. Male will look normal. White one will be white. Color is normal for 2nd gen on the white chipmunk.

The adults aren't from the breeding pen. This is more of my holding pen

I do believe I had a new layer today the little pullet oe that was with the three
cockerel of Blue aka Stew

The holding pen is just mixed girls (and Ashes) who just give me eggs and putter around. Several of the girls have split wing so I will not breed them. I should find them homes, but eh.

The older hens and Pumpkin were out today as well. Ashes ignores Pumpkin so it's safe. Actually, Ashes ignores all confrontation. Pumpkin is blind so he doesn't fight anymore
