Yes. Light and cold. Only a few on my ameraucana are laying in my big girl pen. Plus all the silkies who only slow a little at this time of year

I have a Silkie sitting on eggs, the Easter Egger hens are laying, but the Orpingtons seem to be taking a break. We usually get eggs all winter so this is the first winter we are not getting Orpington eggs. We had eggs until the snow hit and then they stopped. I don't know if it is the weather or the new LGD that has been hanging out inside their coop. I thought we might find a stockpile of eggs outside of the coop but their combs have lost their waxiness so they seem to be taking a break.

Windy here but 28 degrees. That is a major improvement over the teens we've had every morning this week. I'm looking forward to some warmer temps to melt the snow finally. My chickens are too! They don't like the snow, but is is pretty funny watching them try to fly over it so they don't have to walk on it.
