Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I heard my first crow this morning! Three times. Sounded like an adolescent boy whose voice is cracking. To funny. Sad, as I can't have Roos in the city, but still cool.

Also, was planning on a metal shed for a coop. Just found an guy who builds wooden sheds. Getting an 8x8. Pic is is of the upgraded model. Mine will have a single window ( I can add another later on), 4' wide single door, and plywood siding instead of T11. So excited. It will be good to get these babies outside and with more space! I'll miss hearing them inside, but it's time! LOL

I'm so sorry Penny. It's so hard to see our parents age and decline... Not a day goes by that I don't miss my mom and wish she was here to talk to! Much love to you!!!

I woke up this AM to find the coop surrounded by water... The creek we live next to overflowed its banks. We elevated to coop just for this reason and the run has a few inches of wood chips so the birds are fine and out of the water.
Also, it almost ran over our driveway too. We were warned that it will run over the driveway a couple times in the year but won't last long. We have only been at this place for a few months so it's interesting to see the rise and fall of the creek.

@chickenmomma16 that can lead to major issues glad your renting it
as Fema would have a heyday about being in a "flood plane" and charging a bucket load for
insurance

So my meat rabbit buck passed unexpectedly last night. Spent the day cleaning up after the storm that rolled through here, nothing major, just branches and bits of debris. Sold 8 pullets within an hour of posting them on the local Facebook page, and scored a deal for a new buck.

Sorry you lost your buck. Congrats on selling pullets and scoring another buck!
