Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Yeah, but you get properly hot summers. I consider it lucky to get over 70* for more than 2 days in a row here. Makes trying to grow anything a challenge. Have to start early, since it takes so long for things to really start growing.

sorry but I know the breed quite well judged them myself also, I understand what you where told
the head is of a saint also the color graying on the ears is approved not the entire head
jmho wanting you to be aware, your little girl is sure growing up nicely

This is from the AKC website: "The lush weatherproof coat is all white, or white with markings of beautiful shades of gray, tan, reddish-brown, or badger." http://www.akc.org/dog-breeds/great-pyrenees/detail/

There is more detailed information here, including statements about color markings being correct as long as they are not more than one third of the body: http://gpcaonline.org/jeillustrated.htm

So I now have two new Hampshires laying. They apparently heard me talking about eating the young freeloaders. The 6 year old EEs and Ameraucana are out laying the 1.5 - 2 year old brown layers

oh what fun they all can be... spent all day at theceltichorse working on her coop
come home no power in the coop wind howling girls hiding in nesting boxes scared half to death
definitely will not set egg records tomorrow

We've been pretty lucky on electricity here this year. Only lost it a couple handful of times and only once for longer than a couple hours

I just did notice thank you they have changed the standard from the inception
tell me do your have double dews in the rear either of them? talked to an old client of mine with the breed
she said there are new changes afoot also

Yes, they both have the double dew claws on the hind legs.

Penny1960 and her BF came again today to help me with my coop! So grateful to them both. Got my chicks out into it. They were all freaked out a bit, but have seemed to calm down. Hoping they are ok tonight!!!
