Bridie has Lymphoma, and currently the lympths are like a ring of potatoes round her neck...she is still active & eating for 2...but starting to loose weight.....vet has said she has 4 weeks left...........................

See! I knew I would piss somebody off. I did not say every breed, every breeder, every owner etc. and I personally think Americans are worse about it than other countries. We seem to want extremes with her dogs so dogs anyway. Sloped back shepherds, narrow headed Dobermans and collies.

preferably not too far awayand only 3 two pullets 1 cockerel straight run would need like 6 of them

I have marans eggs for sale, but the chicks will be blue or splash.

I am so sorry. It's so hard to lose them. It's been two weeks since I last Aspen and it is still hard every day. Just make her happy, love her while you can.

Keeping the LGD out of the coop has given us Orpington eggs to hatch but we are still losing duck eggs. We are trying out some buckets with holes cut in the lids but the ducks are not using them. They are laying on the ground and the dog is getting many of the eggs before we do. We caught her in the act twice today and sprayed her with the hose but I am sure the lesson won't stick when we are not out there with a hose close by. Dogs are easier to train than ducks but we need the ducks to be more protective of their eggs so we can get them safely in the incubator.

Scotty is from Gresham OR, His mommy breeds and shows Scotties, and his dame is a beautiful strawberry wheaton, dark blond with a reddish twinge. Bailey hails from Huntsville Utah, his mommy raises Scotties for both show and pets. Both breeders were found through petfinder.com. And before anyone climbs a soapbox, I did do my due diligence and vetted them to make sure they were good dog folks and not doing it for the $$$.
