Anyone interested in a special roo?
His name is Charlie! We hatched him and he has been handled daily by my 3 year old. He has wry tail and is not sutable for breeding to other brabanters.

Super sweet and pretty!
Free to a good home!

..I have pics but they are to big to upload ill try and get some up.
A roo ?

You mean like a kanga ?

I'm blaming hubby's work. If he was here I could have taken some dramamine and slept during the drive. Going the 12 miles just to Costco I've been getting motion sick lately. It comes and goes on severity but is something I've always dealt with. Just been getting worse as I get older
I have had a few friends in my life that had that, some had it happen so bad that they had to be hospitalized...and it got worse as they aged.

I hope you get better my friend !

Help! My 6 week olds moved outside yesterday. They have a heat lamp in thier coop.
My 4 week old went out to the coop for a visit today and loved it.
Tonight When I tried to get them to bring in they didn't want to come in. I will let them stay outside now with the big girls.
Ok, this is the question: I have a bit of a runt. Thimbleina is tiny, scrawny and tend to be a loner. I'm fearful of putting her out with the big girls in the coop.
Right now i have her in our house. She spent the evening sleeping on my chest.
What do I do with her????

How many checks do you have in total? I would bring into others that are her same age and that she gets along with and keep them together. And then when she gets a little bit bigger integrate all three of those into the rest of the flock. If you keep her alone or it's going to be a lot harder to get her in with the rest of them.

We've had a sudden uptick of rodents the last month. Making me so mad.

Athena and Zeus got 3 adults today and injured another 2. Hopefully they die from the bites.

Found three nests. One during the daylight. That's how we got one. She was giving birth. That's a good chunk of pests that won't be causing more problems.
