Hi and welcome!
Although many people buy chicks at a feed store, I like getting birds from local breeders. There are threads on BYC that concentrate on specific breeds and you can often find what you're looking for there. Sometimes the more specific your question the easier it is to answer. What, and how many, are you hoping for?

Hello! Newbie to Washington and newbie to raising chickens! Looking forward to learning and the experience my family and I will get with raising chickens and getting fresh eggs as well as everything Washington has to offer.

Welcome!
Lots of poultry around Kitsap. Keep an eye on the Tractor Supply in P.O., they have poultry swaps about once a month. What breeds are you thinking about?

My beautiful hatching eggs from Chickielady! Each one was carefully, individually wrapped in multiple layers and bubble wrap, I am so excited! These Sulmtaler eggs are big and I love the blush color! I will get them in the incubator this evening.
