been 50 years now how many remember this

I seem to acquired a black hen some how had 2 then BF said a chicken got out it was at the garage he opened the main gate it then wanted back in. We went over to my main coop said it was broad in the back showed him my 2 black he said no does not look like mine then there was three black as one more went to one of my feeders and he said that is the one???

all I can figure is a neighbors bird will head to the store post see if someone lost one.. I had 2 black this a 3rd and older than my two but not much I think... I am August child of 1960 figure this my Brother is Dec 23 1959

Aww! I have a black lab too, Minni! She's always has the same amount of grey on her as she does now (she's 8)! She loves the chickens, today she put her nose up against the side of the run and got pecked!

Welcome good looking girl there there are several of here in the nw with Labs mostly black, yellow is not as common here.. Moose my boy will run a bird as he has.... I had fenced an are to garden it is about 1/3 of our property that is there run huge protected by a huge apple tree about 80 years old lots of very tall grass...
