Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Penny1960, I wanted to get a Cream Legbar, an easter egger, a red-laced wyandotte, Cuckoo Marans, and a Plymouth Barred Rock to round out our flock. How many chicks are you looking to get? I could get even fewer if you were interested in getting more...(I was originally thinking 3, but it's hard to choose...). MPC has a neat function in the Day Old Baby Chicks section where you can select a week in February and see what's available then...

see the only chase I am on is for a really dark egg layer I have all the others now if you want a EE @junebuggena has the best around I have 8 of hers maybe a few more than that I have 4 of @Hinotori Silky but went to another breeder for Lavender Americana
really pretty birds even a extra male nice blue eggs started quite small but growing
and really I cannot add more than 3 or 4 birds in my coops

Hintori--Cool! It would be neat to see the Pacific Northwest Poultry Association show at the Clark County Fairgrounds! I just really want girls only--I'm a softie and have chickens for pets and killing the boys is hard. Do you think there would be any sexed chicks at the fair?

I'm hoping for some ameraucana chicks at the show. Not even caring the color. We'll see what we come back with. Hubby always eyes the giant breed roosters

Can junebuggena sex new chicks? I'd love to support small scale breeders rather than hatcheries, but really want only girls....

talk to junebug I paid a few bucks more to have only girls cuz that is what I wanted
but then I got this OE he was beautiful raised him awhile but he was young hard on the girls backs so I sold him then went to get the la and picked up 11 only 3 pullets of 11 took all but 2 to auction
