the RIRs are nice, the BCMs need some work, but I am at the point where I want nice big eggs !

My biggest eggs are from my blue and green egg layers the barred from the breeder are getting bigger but slowly I get monster blue and green

Well Coastal managed to make me mad. They had a 20% off Bog boots. The cashier kept telling me that the price labeled on the shelf was 20% off. I told him that the law states they must have original price up as well then. He called back to what he said was a manager, but I never saw the person. He said that they said that it was the sale price and regular price was $119.something. It rang up at $95.something. The shelf price tag was $99.something. So that right there calls their lie.

He didn't even want to give me the 25% off any item coupon on the dog treats. I got fed up and walked out without buying anything. Then I sent an email off to corporate complaining. That poop should roll down hill if the company knows what's good. Federal and state consumer laws are pretty plain on some things. I think that they just didn't want to bother fixing their computer

Wilco is closer and prices compare on usual feed.

Hey young marans started roosting tonight first time they had not roosting on tables I have two the same height made from pallets they have been in the main coop almost two weeks finally they roosted

Peep fix is always good. I love how chicks will just lay flat down and close their eyes

I have a white Silkie rooster (possibly 2, but I'm just focusing on the 1 right now) that I need to rehome.

He is not show quality at all. I'm really not familiar with Silkies; he seems quite large to me and I was expecting he would be smaller. He is 4 months old, and just started lightly crowing.

He does not have any feathers at all on his feet. But other than that, I think he is quite the charmer. He has totally become "the man" and takes his job of watching over the pullets very seriously. If we could have roosters, I would keep him.

Please let me know if you or anyone you know would like him. I am not asking for any $$ at all, he is free. I will be posting this on the re-homing forum as well.
