We've been above freezing everyday. Hovering right around 40.

We are not above freezing but no snow here bought a new pair of chicken boots at walmart took them back could not lace them tight at my ankles ... went to Sunbird's they had nice sorrels ankle style slip on kinda a romeo for women much better fit and quality

I have my Bogs boots. They are neoprene inside and keep the feet warm. Also why I do stupid things in summer like wear flip flops and stomp on biting rodents.

We called them Juneau tennis shoes did take two photos easier to show than describe

I have another pair that laces a bit taller calf hide but slick soled needed the warmth I have tall black rubber but not warm these are thinsulate

Congrats on you EE pullet! My pullets started laying a few months ago, many of them are Polish, but I have an EE, 2 light and 1 partridge brahmas, and a Welsummer.

Argh, too many eggs! Not too many chickens of course, lol. Moving to Goldendale this year and I'm going to go up in early March to build coops and runs. Fun! I'll have 2.5 acres to play with!
