My big Marans Roo seemed to have got the message a couple of days ago he hasn’t stuck his beak out of the run when I’m out there doing chores but when I was filling the feeder inside the run he was at the other end just tearing up the ground. I slapped my stick on the ground and said don’t you dare.he stayed away but if I didn’t have the stick bet he would have attacked. Jerk

I found that acting like a predator and chasing them whenever you see them will get it through their heads. I did that to a rooster for two weeks straight. He was terrified of me after that. He was lucky I didn't just eat him then and there after he spurred me

That’s what I did two him a couple of days ago I got tired of waiting for him to come after me and he would of. So when I went out to do chicken chores I got of the tractor and got my stick and went after him first on a dead run yelling and slapping the stick around. Ran him into the run whacked him a couple of times and pinned him in the corner. That seemed to do it but I’m sure he will come back again.

Randi as I call him with hormones did get pinned by the crook in my stick it is a walking stick I always have it with chased him out again today figured it out a hen bends at all food he wants to mount them they spurn him serves him right he is bigger than they are

Wind has been blowing all day here, planted my potato’s I ate a lot of dirt that blew in my face plus it really cooled down dropped 15 degrees this afternoon.

I finally found some lemon verbena plants, so I bought 3. I love it for tea. Also found another mint type I didn't have. I'm weird and collect mints.

We have a wonderful one planted by the what seems to have been a fruit cellar or pumphouse here quite tastey

We just had hail and then rain here with a zero percent chance of precipitation hmm how does that happen. They are calling for a overnight freeze in Spokane hope that doesn’t happen here my peach, apricot and nectarean trees are all blooming dang it.

Okay about to go clean Richard said we lost 2 marans the younger group they are in the second room of the silky coop .. put the older EE in my third coop all about 5 weeks feathered out great even got one picked out to keep so go clean then upload some photos
