Nope to far for me. Put up corn in the freezer after blanching today ended up with 145 ears it’s really good to.

Making a really cool quesadilla here tonight in spring form pan
hey I picked up 3 chicks at auction wanted really young get the silky off eggs that did not hatch went to get the box they said blue marans looked them up drop dead beautiful
birds so obvious right away the cockerel but have 2 pullets with him may keep him with my easter egger I am raising

Cool hope he ends up being a good boy. Going for a big stir fry here tonight my sister and mother are over for a while they are helping me can the rest of the stuff in the garden. Potato’s tomorrow have a lot to dig up.

Ey!!! I'm posting in the hatching egg b.s.t section too. But I'm planning to start trying to ship hatching eggs from my Americauna line Easter eggers so if anyone wants some EE eggs I'll happily give some away for nothing but shipping charge as long as I get feed back on hatch success and fertility(usually I get 95% fertile, and then another 90% out of those fertile to hatch perfectly even in my simple styrofoam incubators unless something happens part way through)
Currently my only laying hens are my Calico princess, New Hampshire, and Buff Orp . So chicks will most likely be Buff, red, or Calico whith anything from no patterning to partridge to heavy lacing its kinda a free for all in the color dep(1st feathers are always striped and by 6 weeks their actual coloring comes in). Heres some pics of chicks + parents for examples!
