I have a bunch of different chickens that came with the place but I think I have decided what breeds I want to keep. Cream legbars, BCM and OE mixes. I just have to start downsizing my old flock. The new coop will hold the 13 chickens I want to keep and the big chicken barn will hold turkeys.

What do you like about the ameraucana?

I have 2 but I also have some cream legbar mixes and I love their personalities more.

I like blue eggs and the wheaten ameraucana have been calm birds for me with no aggression. I had a couple silver ameraucana before and they weren't quite as calm.

My EE from Gena in Longview are calm birds the little OE I got from exit 88 they where different folks but great birds she has been a solid layer these 5 and half years ...
I really like the oriental gal I got a EE from and my cockerel Red is EE the three blue marans are solid birds bought them as day olds at the auction .. My sex links are pretty solid they are hatchery the speckled sussex are hatchery we bought 15 in the end lost 3 I got 6 she took 5 but went to pay for extra 5 there was just 2 cochin left they told me these are full size birds okay fine I will take them I like the kids at Onalaska feed store I would very much like keep a marans cockerel and Red the other will go to auction

We have a little outside. The cat decided that maybe he didn't want to be out in that right now. The other cat wasn't interested in going out. I think she sensed it coming.
