I'm so sorry for your loss!Hello,
I am new to this forum and live out on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state.
Sad to say I lost 2 of my beloved American Buffs to a predator yesterday. My one remaining girl is lonely and afraid now and I am desperately looking to find her a partner. Does anyone have a lead on some adult American Buff Geese in and around Western Washington?
Thanks so much in advance.
Tami
I don't have geese, so I'm also sorry I can't help you out. Do you free range your geese? Did you dispatch the predator? I think anyone willing to part with one of their pet geese to help yours out will want to know it wont just become the next casualty, so giving some assurances here would help a lot. And, btw, I don't say that with any judgement at all!!! We have all lost a feathered friend or two to predators!!! It's heartbreaking!!! And then we figure out how to keep them safer.
My chickens free ranged in my orchard for 3 years, predator free. And then the bald eagles came and took out 3 this last summer.
