I was born in California! I'm glad I'm not there now! I've lived in WA since 1980, but we came up here every spring before that to pick cherries!

Born in Hermiston, Oregon. I just went from the hot dry side to the cooler wet side.

I have a couple family members in Seattle, Portland, and Kennewick. Most are in the Hermiston area.

I've always found volcanology to be interesting. I just remember the ash cloud from St Helens when I was 5. We watched documentaries on it in grade school. Earth science was a favorite class in middle school.
