Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Well I have 2 partridge cockerels and 3 pullets out of this hatch. The paint that survived is a cockerel and I'll probably need to find him a home.

I can't decide on the self blues if it's 2 boys and 1 girl or 2 boys.

I will have at least a couple cockerel in my hatch but like 3 are pullets took new photos today the one is blue marans like her Dad. A couple I thing where sexlinks so will be green layers. The black and white I am the fence would hope pullet.

Hello all, butting in with a quick question! Do you know of any Washington-specific poultry clubs? I know about the APA, ABA, SCNA, etc., but what about local?

Thanks in advance!
We have a group here no specific name but local pre pandemic. Need to get us back together nut down here in Lewis County .. Where in the state are you Please ?

So the silkie pen that the 3/4 rooster was in has 5 old silkie hens. They hadn't been laying for months so I'd quit looking for eggs. Apparently sometime around 3 weeks ago they managed to lay 3 eggs between them. Startled the heck out of me to see a chick in that pen. It's very mobile so it's been hatched at least a day. The other 2 are almost as mobile.

So scramble to find the chick gear. Plus I had to build chick friendly steps because I'd broken the ramp on that coop. Hens don't need it but it's too high for babies to jump.
