You must not be far from my favorite Mexican restaurant in Omak. Our family is on the west side, but we’re very familiar with Omak and Okanogan. One of the Omak sheriffs is a good friend of ours. Camp at his property off the res and ride dirt bikes out by Conconully.

The fires over there are always pretty bad unfortunately. I didn’t hear about the fire that came through Conconully though, that’s a bummer! It was gorgeous riding out there. It was May I believe the last time we were over. My mother and father in law had 10 acres at the south end of Okanogan. We used to stop at the farmers market every time we visited
Yeah the fires happened after May. We are getting a lot of snow now so that would be great to prevent future fires. Ah.. I know the one you're talking about. Cabbage salsa? Yes there are a bunch of Mexican restaurants! Lol well I like the one in the Safeway parking lot. Their cabbage type salsa is amazing
