Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Tell me about it. We aren't as bad as some spots around here but I pull dozens of fist size rocks out of the garden each time I till. Plus ones the size of a basketball and bigger.
Ha, ha! Rocks are an indiginous weed here in Kitsap where we are. They seem to multiply. Every year, like @Hinotori said, rocks come up from tilling. Just today, I dug a trench along one side of the run/coop and backfilled it with rocks from the garden over hardware cloth to keep the darn mice from digging under. We didn't make the coop with extended sides down under.

Glass and broken pottery come up here. Especially in the large fowl run. This house was built in 1900 so I'm assuming that was one of the middens at one time. I took the metal detector out there once and dug out a lot of trash.

The one over by the fenceline gave me 2 scythes and a milk can.
