We're looking at 88 here later today. Chickens have plenty of water and shade. In fact, it is always 10 degrees cooler where they are. I like sitting out there just because it's a cooler place to spend outdoor time.

We have air conditioners in the office and living room
Went to home depot this morning got 4 roof panels and 4 bags of concrete plus a 60 lb of mortar .. Dump concrete in each of the bottom cinder blocks mortar will set the two rows.
Getting the 4 roof panels that does the roof..

We're lucky. We have central air and a good air mover, so always cool anywhere in the house. But we are building out the Rabbit Hole in a 500 SF room in the garage and need to figure out A/C for that room. We put a wood stove in there and there is a small heater, so it's just the cool we need. I think it's doable for a reasonable price. Meantime, in this hot weather I just go out and come into the house to cool down.
