I'll take this lovely, late warm spell. Go, tomatoes! Now the moles have ramped up their digging. The fight is never ending! Anyone have success with any methods? No tunnels near the surface, so the scissors type trap doesn't work, nor the spring loaded stabber type, nor the poison worms or pellets. Well, maybe the pellets killed some, but more are back. How many offspring do they have? The girls love to scratch around the dirt that comes up.

Moles or rats ? I fight rats here.. Couple years now best thing I find a whole stick rat poison cover woth dirt tamp it. keep birds out that area.

More fresh pumpkin teatherball for the kids - we also just read that pumpkin is a natural wormer for chickens too!!

That is always fun gives them a bit of activity.
I just home to get more than 4 eggs today.

Pumpkin tetherball is cute. I'm not getting many eggs either. Molting time. But I did get 7 yesterday. That was a surprise.

You get yours early! I don't get eggs until the afternoon and if I go in early there is a whole lot of complaining going on. lol
