Haven't been on here for a bit. Much has happened since, especially the last two months. Problems solved, new ones happening.
Wet, muddy, stinky runs were dug up, loosened, and then totally covered with heavy duty tarps.
Rat problem finally conquered by using treadle feeders.
Bad prolapse and then vent gleet, took 2 weeks to treat 2x daily bath / washing and ointments, meds. Good as new.
Lost a hen to probably intestinal parasite overload.
Rehomed a cockerel.
Rescued chick 3 weeks ago. Shes doing fine.
Currently solving possible egg eater mystery. Going to try installing curtains. If that doesn't work, cameras.

How is your flock? Raining again, after such a beautiful warmer day of 60.

Yesterday was beautiful, okay so it had clouds, and was maybe in the 60's? There was very little wind, I played pickleball, then had a glass of wine on my patio. In a t-shirt. This morning it was raining.

We had rain fall in the night.
Weather guesser thought today might have showers.
It was real nice yesterday I was in short sleeved blouse.

I'll have to let DH know. However, the tarps were also condensating, so, not sure there. Crazy humidity.

I planted my strawberry I was so happy to put them in dirt.
I am going to have re home Smudge. He has gone kinda weird with the new coop
DH thinks he does not like it.
He will not allow girls to eat, made one girl almost bald on ther neck breeding her.
