Birds do nothing the poop is so easy to find then. We stop at a coffee shop
on the way home get them free grounds will compost faster than shavings.
I keep small amount of shavings for the nest boxes.

It can take a month for them to feel safe. The older the bird the the longer it can take

Yeah, we ended up ordering online. We have just a few days before "Lockdown". I swaer, I see the eggs wiggling once in a while. I don't know if that's just me or if they are actually moving a tiny bit.

I have a friend who has a LO rooster in my area who wants to re-home it. I have his eggs- (hens he bred with in incubator.) He is one year old. Let me know if you are interested in him. I will let my friend know...

Pretty boy I have said one roo here raising a Blue copper Marans from friend that breeds them he is so sweet kills me to wait all summer for fertile eggs.

light. Seems Snow is mellowing as she ages last time in the chickens yard she just layed there.
