Hey all we had sun for bit skies have stayed light.
Wear a short boot today grass is still wet 2 days we do not have to water.

We have sunshine now, but had thunderstorms along with hail sweep through earlier.

It barely hit 60 degrees here today, sweat shirt and sweat pants weather. Didn't do much outside other than communing with the chickens a little, then watching them forage in the backyard from the dining room window. Peaceful day here.

Got my electric bill today, and only 58 bucks. Sure is a lot less when I don't have to run the furnace.

If you've seen a duck struggling to choke one down, you'd understand why they don't.

My husband saw a duck do that and never would eat another duck egg!

I saw a flash of color on the side of the road when I crossed the street to get my mail. I didn't have my camera with me so I picked one to take a pic inside.

Native red columbine (or western columbine, or Sitka columbine).
Very cool looking blossoms! There are quite a few growing along the road, but unfortunately not on my side of the road.

Go pinch a few seed heads when they quit blooming. I used to have a few but they’ve died off.

So, your husband doesn't like shell-less Escargot?

Slugs are nasty! I picked one up first time I saw one, and that slime is nearly impossible to wash off.

Today is a light gray, no rain, may be considered sunny of on the west side. At least no wind today...so far. It has been cold here the last couple days.
