Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Good tomato growing weather coming up. It's going to hit about 90 degrees today and tomorrow, then in the low 80s for the next week or so. But no rain, except for one day with a .02" chance.

Going out to water the garden. Before I water the tomatoes I'll check the moisture with the soil testing probe I bought a while back. Don't want to overwater them.

I checked the soil moisture around my tomato plants and it was perfect so I didn't water them. I want to let the roots get a little dry so they reach out further to find water. I'll check moisture levels every day or two and water when they really need it.

The winter squash didn't need watering either, but I hosed down everything else.

This is the soil tester I bought from AMZN

Thanks for the input earlier. The girls did just fine in coop and probably could have gone out sooner since they really had outgrown the playpen I set up.

I'm loving all of the garden pictures. It's my first time not having a summer garden after a very difficult year, so I'm living vicariously through your posts, although I'm beginning to feel inspired and might plant a small garden for fall.
