Good Morning been big news here about the snake falling she is very lucky.
Could have been lot's worse.
sitting here with my second cup this morning.

Cockerel doodle do woke me up again around 5, but he quieted down and gave me another hour of sleep. He's locked in the coop overnight, then I let him out into the new run first thing in the morning. I think the pullets are more relaxed being separated from him for a change, even though they can see him and talk with him.

The pullets gave me a couple of nice sized eggs so far this morning.

Still have not heard either let a crow out. Same token with all the cover in their run we do not see flying predators.

Well, I know for sure that Pete can crow. He was first to start crowing when I had both of them.

I had just one rooster left, who was just starting to crow, so shy like the smallest crow in the world. I keep them until they crow. This morning my son who was visiting said, "I see a hatchet in the sink." Yup.
