It was nice. Had enough wind to dry thw laundry some even.

It was so nice yesterday that I uncovered the table and chairs on the deck and sat out there for a while. Should be nice like that all week. Well, some rain on Monday, but then up into the 70's this week.

Sure was it is foggy here 44 cool morning started the fire early,

No fog here but cloudy, kind of windy too. I need to pick the zucchini and cucumber vines clean today and throw the plants into the chicken run. The birds don't eat the leaves, but the plants eventually get shredded into the woodchips. Compost for the garden!

I don't know why, but my chickens have been pooping a lot less overnight from the roost. Maybe the cooler weather has something to do with it? But as soon as I let them into the day run they dropped 2 or 3 giant poop bombs. Chicken mystery.

It sure did start out cool and foggy on the river, but it ended up 65 and sunny this afternoon. Beautiful!

Our high seemed to stop at 61 Sun is out just cooler than what the summer had been.

Greetings, all. Has anyone used the Conway Feed (in Conway) layer food? I am only about 10 minutes from them and am interested in getting some.

Hey Daisy, I'm in Elma, WA and my local feed store sells the Conway pellets. I was planning on trying the Conway brand the next time I purchased feed. Have you tried them yet? Do you happen to know the price of a 40lbs bag?
