Hey Daisy, I'm in Elma, WA and my local feed store sells the Conway pellets. I was planning on trying the Conway brand the next time I purchased feed. Have you tried them yet? Do you happen to know the price of a 40lbs bag?

No rain here yet but its coming... Skies are so gray it just looks cold out!!! Put the tarp back on the chicken run doesn't stop the rain but it helps to keep the MUD down. Put new wood chips down yesterday and grass clippings the girls should have enough to keep them buzzy.

I mowed all the weeds in the yard yesterday, and with all the rain coming down today, I'll probably have to mow again in a couple weeks.

And I got the nipple waterers I ordered last week. They seem to be pretty solid. I thought they'd be cheap and lightweight, but they seem to be pretty solid. I need to get them installed in one of the buckets so my chickens learn how to use them.
