Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I have these two feeders guess I thought to use them.
When I was given the tractor we use for banty.
He said he built it for his wife recently she had coon killing all her birds.
They had houses build right up behind them coon had no where to go.
They found a free food.
His wife decided no more birds. The had sold their own property for enough
to take it as retirement.

found this today just had to share

It's been cold and raining all day today. I walked around the yard a few times for exercise, picked up a piece of trash that some piece of trash tossed out of their car, and picked up a few apples from under the tree. Cut one up and gave it to the chickens.

Decided to do a little house cleaning/organizing. Moved a bunch of stuff from the living room and my bedroom into one of the spare bedrooms. I'll pull out the vacuum cleaner tomorrow and give the carpet a good cleaning. Washed dishes too.

Still finding some strange looking mushrooms. I saw the red ones in the woodchip pile yesterday. The white one was down in the woods, and it's about 8 inches across. They look pretty cool!

We've been moving plants from the deck to the greenhouse. Sad to see them go into hibernation for the winter.

It is sad! I moved my night blooming cereus inside a few days ago. It wasn’t very happy so I’m hoping I’m not too late!
I'm just the opposite. I'm really happy that the garden is winding down for the year. It was a lot of work trying to keep it protected from the deer, building all the structures and cages around the raised beds.

Next year will be much easier now that everything is set up, but for now I'm enjoying the vacation from dealing with lots of plants. I even had the energy to vacuum clean the entire house today. And it needed it!
