I gave all the birds vanilla yogurt today as I went to clean.
Gave them it on a board baby slugs and worms where on it extra goodies.

Just got back from the store with a big box of produce scraps for the girls. I've started sorting through the boxes so I just take what they'll eat. Today's score, lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes, apples and pears (which they've never had). My chickens eat better than me.

I think it was one of the store managers that I asked. I told him I had chickens to feed, and asked what the store does with the produce waste and trimmings.

It's been a while since my chickens enjoyed bright sunshine. They're getting some vitamin D this morning.

It is nice and sunny out today went out and cleaned the coops while i had the chance before it starts raining again.

Put my eggs from the little incubator to my larger one

No rooster here so we can't hatch eggs... I want a few more chickens of course but we are already over our legal limit.

We are at 51 get to take the hoodie off.
Went outside both the outside water that I use have both gotten leaks now.
Took a old cat box from the garden and a fairly small tub to use.

Finally had both DH and I so got a hold on Fred got the
bands cut from his leg was starting to make him lame.
He did not fight us at all he figured it out.
