I watered the garden real good this morning. I'll pick more beans tomorrow and should have enough to freeze. Picked the first almost-ripe tomato of the summer and noticed that there's a zucchini that's not going to turn brown and fall off.

I downloaded the Love's app on my phone. It gives me a 10 cent per gallon gas discount. Paid $3.69 today at the Napavine Love's.

House is all closed up to hold in the cool. I should probably clean house today. Shouldn't be too much work since it's still almost clean from last weekend's cleaning.

What I want to do, what I need to do, and what I'm capable of doing aren't aligning up right now.

Did manage to make a cover out of a sock for my brace so I can do some outside things now.

We use Texaco/Chevron credit card and just pay it off at the end of the month. Saves us at least 10 cents a gallon and sometimes more. We love it.

Healing. Have to torture myself every 2 hours, then therapy 2x a week

I locked the girls up in the secure run/coop area a little early tonight. A bowl of wetted down feed pellets was distraction enough to let me close the door and lock them in.

Didn't clean house. Didn't feel like it. I started sorting pennies today, separating the 1982 and earlier all-copper pennies from the newer copper clad zinc pennies.

I started working on a 20 pound bag, and I still have probably another 30 pounds in addition to that. There are 181 of the zinc pennies in a pound, 146 of the heavier copper pennies.

The bank requires the pennies to be in rolls when they're deposited. That will be over 150 rolls when I'm done.

For some reason I started saving all my pennies when I was a teenager and didn't stop until I pretty much quit using cash to buy things.

Back then I thought it would be fun for me to sort out the good pennies when I got old. Well, I'm old now, and sorting pennies ain't as much fun as the young me thought it would be.

They gave me exercises to do Friday. I could barely move the pinky then. I can do some now. How long I have to go for depends on how fast I recover. They will take me as long as needed.

Current problem is that the stitches pull. Cant extend finger until given go ahead. That risks tearing
