Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I cleaned and refilled the chickens' 5 gallon water bucket, picked up 5 nice eggs.

Picked beans yesterday and got another gallon into the freezer. My green bush beans and rattlesnake pole beans are almost done, but I have a row of yellow wax beans that just started blooming. I'll have plenty of beans in the freezer for the winter.

I pulled three zucchinis from the garden yesterday too. I believe they will become sweet relish. I'll fine-chop them along with onion and red New Mexico peppers. Should be tasty.
Once we are moved, can I visit you around dinner time? :)

I'm canning green beans today, just because I loved canned green beans, and I don't like the ones in the store. I had to buy my green beans though. My direct sow experiment didn't work out at all, so no garden this year. Just the strawberries and mint, both of which grow like weeds here.
I agree with you. Store bought green beans are mushy.
