It's been dumping rain here for the last 20 minutes so far.

The garden is loving it...


The chickens, not so much. They're sort of hiding against the back wall of the run.


I'm not liking it either. I saw that the gutter on the back of my house is plugged up. I'll need to climb up on the roof and clean it one of these days before it falls off.

E WA is also getting wet. I think it is funny. The rain only started when the weekend came. Tourists love it I am sure.

I have 3 pares of rubber boot, I hate wet feet.

I'm getting tired of this cool weather. Not the best for my tomatoes and squash, but the carrots and brassicas like it.

I ripped some leaves off of my going-to-seed kale plants and treated the chickens. Filled their calcium containers with oyster granules and egg shells this morning.

They're going to need the calcium since I'm feeding them the rest of a bag of high protein game bird feed I bought. It doesn't have enough calcium for laying hens.

Ya I even stated a fire in the stove 62 here in house.
warm to like 65 even that little helps.
