I found a few more chanterelles this morning and cooked some with smoked pork and scrambled eggs for lunch.

Afternoon all took a hot shower was left to sleep late.
Just had my mcmuffin.
Raining here now, still in the 40's here.

Yes, 46 here right now. And we are headed out in the chill for dinner. It's our anniversary. Going to the Shire in Chehalis. It's a pub and bistro, but generally very good gourmet food. They have a great chef.

Good morning. 41 here now in Tacoma. Got a couple beautiful 6 mo old lavender Wyandots recently who are in temporary quarantine in the garage, so they are nice and warm and dry. Hoping for a couple dry days to get them outside on the grass a bit. This weather has definitely got me craving hot soup. Hope everyone is enjoying our PNW fall!

It's quite expensive, but the food was excellent. If you go, plan on $30 for dinner, another $10 for salad and another $10 for dessert. It's not a place I would frequent, but worth it for a special occasion. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was a bit noisy. Well, it's a pub after all. Seemed like an after work hang out for the local businesses, a few tables of a couple women each and about 5 men at the bar. People seemed to know each other. I was waiting for Norm to walk in.

44 here now darn it is cool out.
Wet left the banty in the coop gave them ramen leftover.
I buy the lasagna at costco cannot make it for what they charge
and it is sausage and beef. Just the right size for the three of us.
