Power was out 16 hrs, 5 hrs into black out I invited hatching eggs in bed with me, and had to cuddle them 11 hrs. They were on day 8 all survived.

I did lose one egg.

Lost power on Tuesday shortly after last posting, and only got it back this (Friday) afternoon. Many areas around me are still in the dark. Internet is very spotty so cash is a must as some vendors can't process CC payments.

Didn't have enough propane for the generator for this kind of duration. Hubby's threatening to buy a big tank and have it parked somewhere.

His parents invested in a 500 gal tank. Too big for us but something smaller should be doable.

Hey all look like I can bring Richard home on Monday.
The took him to Vancouver heck of drive from here.
So every other day we are down there.
We do seem to have sun out also, Our stove is propane run.
