I did that last week.Diatomaceous Earth is the treatment or wood ash is best.
I have to go to town early tomorrow, I'll see what I can find a T.S., I dont expect to find much but its close. I can go to Wilco after church Sunday.I've never had to treat lice or mites, but when I suspected them once I treated all of them with pyrethrin, the organic kind that is made strictly with chrysanthemums. Have not seen it in the feed stores. Ordered it on Amazon. It's not the same as Permethrin, which is synthetic.
yep, for years I have always kept all my wood ash in a metal garbage can just for my coop. I toss it in the sand that is on the coop floor, the hens like to dust bath in it.Nope wood ash is tried and true not harmful at all.
Or just order pyrethrin on Amazon and have it by tomorrow -- no driving.I have to go to town early tomorrow, I'll see what I can find a T.S., I dont expect to find much but its close. I can go to Wilco after church Sunday.
