Blue skies here this morning. At the moment, anyway.

It'll be time for me to plant my peppers this weekend. Overnight temps are going to be close to 50 degrees.

Dog wake me of a morning all the time.
Moose is my alarm now. God forbid when I loose him.
I do have 8 growing up to replace the ones that have passed.
Started my first sauerkraut in my #2 crock.

I got the chicken run door built and hung today. Even used real hinges to mount it on. It still needs a latch of some kind that I'll figure out tomorrow.

Hey I have a set of auto doors we will not use.
Tell ya what 20 each ?
Been busy as a one armed bandit this morning.

I finished the new door that opens into the chickens' day run. There was an extra latch on the pump house door that I used, exactly what I was looking for.

I covered the opening over the door with chicken wire this morning too. I'm a little closer to done with the project.

Use hardware cloth on openings.
Found cement pieces in the spots left in the roof can be blocked
by the pieces.
Boards seem to tick them off.
