Have leftover pork rib meat just enough to make pork in rice.

I got the big mess around the chicken run cleaned up. Looks much better now. While I had the mower out I trimmed the front yard.

Weeded the last of the garden that needed it this morning and watered again.

Happy Memorial Day. I'm happy we are not remembering a family member lost to war, but we are contemplating and remembering all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for us.

I just finished moving the little chicks out of the indoor brooder box and into their section of the chicken coop outside. They'll have heat 24/7, and I set up a light to come on automatically at 7AM, off at 8PM.

The big chickens are looking at them through the hardware cloth with curiosity. Or is it hunger? LOL
