Be careful with the zip ties I have had to cut them from the skin as the bird grew.
I may stay home today get a few things done here.

I took some birds on a couple birds with them.
Went to take bands off they had grown into the skin.
I am on second cup still no rain huh.

I use little colored zip ties on chicks to ID them. Put on very loose. They get checked weekly and changed as needed. About 14-16 weeks they get a color coded cellulose wrap around bandettes.

Richard refuses to get out of bed want us to wait on him.
I understand he has lost allot of muscle
I would want him to fight his way back!

Exciting morning so far. In the garden I picked all the lettuce and collards and put the collards in the freezer, then watered the butternut squash plants.

I just finished putting bands on the 7 New Hampshire pullets. They didn't like it much when I held them against my chest and put the zip ties on but I think they'll get over it. Next I want to weigh each of them but I'll wait a few days for that. That should be fun.

Rain? Not a cloud in the sky here. 93 degrees! A bit hot for me.

No idea , Penny jo. So sorry about all this difficulty. Frustrating I'm sure. Maybe you can convince him to just do the least amount, like get up and walk across the room and back. If he were in hospital right now they would have him up and walking around the floor. They don't take no for an answer.

Ah. My scale gives ounces. Overkill, I know, but I'm happy when I lose a half a pound.
