I made a quick pizza Friday. I made some self rising flour for the crust and pre-baked it for a little while, then topped it with tomato sauce, fresh oregano leaves, chopped chives and mozzarella cheese. Wasn't too bad.
I think I mentioned that I cut back all my chive clumps that were growing out of control. One clump I cut back a month ago and it has nice fresh growth now. I think there are still a dozen clumps of chives in the patch.
The dill is starting to form flower heads but I'm not sure how to save it for making dill pickles later on. My cucumbers probably won't be ready for a couple months. Should I dry the flower heads and fronds? Freeze them? Plant more dill seeds to get a later crop???
