Hey we say that about silkie all the time.
All of one egg up in the hazelnut this morning.
Of the birds in the small coop 3 cockerel now my bud said she may take Fred back.

I got one questionable egg yesterday that was cracked but not leaking. I cooked it and mixed it with wet feed and gave it to the young chicks. They loved it.

I gave the rest of the flock eggshells mixed with dry feed and a container of plain feed wetted down. They still look out the window like they want to go outside. Maybe in a few weeks when the chicks are bigger and meaner. LOL

I got one nice egg today. I had to block off the nest box because all the New Hampshires were sleeping in it. The hens found a corner of the run to lay their eggs in.

We got a new frig and put the old one out in the garage husband uses it for fish bait stuff and extra water the freezer part i use for extra eggs and bread

Our old one is in the laundry room we all use it and the freezer in it.
