Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I am learning to make pie crust. Bout time, don't you think? Anyway, I can make the crust but It sure isn't pretty in the pie plate. Making a fresh peach pie for company, so I pulled out the old reliable Marie Calendar's pie crust. I'll make some quiche tomorrow out of the ones I made from scratch.

Speaking of scratch...they look like a cat got to them!! :lau

Have the cooked beast in a pie plate back in the oven.
It is off.
James went to get carrots.
We have a few hundred trees growing in the yard from the old oak we have. Neighbor brought the earth mover over scraped the trees away
Limbed a few limbs from the tree itself.

tonight the young cockerel took the pullets into the big coop to sleep with the old girls he is up on the purch and they are on the ground sleeping, think to scared to try and sleep with the big girls but he is now almost as big as my old hens they don't mess with him. Is it safe to leave the littles out there?? until morning ?? he usually looks out for them and don't let the big girls mess with them too much.... they have their own little coop but where he goes they go.... the littles are now 8 week old

I think you're asking if the littles can be in the big coop with the big girls. I don't see why not. They seem to have worked it out already.
