I am getting garden fatigue, if that is the term for "it's producing so well, I don't have anymore freezer space or canning jars." Now with just the two of us most of the meals, it doesn't make sense to have a huge garden anymore.

It is the same for us. I didn't plant a big garden, certainly not enough garlic, but it is producing better than most years this year. We've had such nice hot weather and the tomatoes and beans love it. But, on the bell pepper side? Maybe I'll get 4. I guess I need more than two plants. lol

Good morning had my coffee. Odd but my spoon rest for my coffee spoon is gone.
Had my coffee fighting with myself up since 7.
Need to get the big girl britches on.
I will plant next year!

I'm getting garden fatigue too.

I think that I'll just freeze all the tomatoes I need for making tomato sauce and can it later this fall when things cool down.

But I'll still need to make salsa with fresh tomatoes. I've made 14 pints so far, and I'm shooting for another four 7 pint batches, about 20# of tomatoes worth. I think I have close to 15# ripening indoors.

I'm trying to get most of the house painted this week before it starts raining next week.

Hey Okay have my mcmuffin.
I do like a good rain need to give Pugsley a good bath.
He is allot of white the Mocha and Snow like to roll him.
He ends up just dirty as can be.
Oh James said that Buddy cat was liking my coffee rest he knocked it off and it broke. He glued it for me.

Glad you found it. I looked all over for some paint stirring sticks yesterday and couldn't find them so I just used a little board. Today I found them, exactly where I put them when I brought them home.

Just picked up a bag of XCel all purpose pellets at the Onalaska feed store. I noticed that my chickens seem to understand they need to eat oyster shells. Rinsing off the stink made the oyster shells edible I guess.

Made some dilly beans without the sugar today. Also flash froze some green beans and put another gallon bag in the freezer. I'll appreciate all those "fresh" beans in the winter. We usually only have them in the summer and don't often buy the frozen ones, never the canned ones.

That's why I'm busting my ### and trying to get most of the house painted this week. I just finished masking the final window on the house and my son is masking the skirting now. Tomorrow I'll paint, if I can move after all the work I did today. LOL

I hope your son will help you out if you are too tired or sore.

He'll help when he can. He has search and rescue training this weekend, plus he has to drive over 200 miles a day getting to work and coming back home. That eats up a lot of his time.
