Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

So I freeze the rockfish just to say I did not eat fish from the time I left Juneau till I had friend that brought fresh caught salmon.
That was good still had prawns and clams.
Saw the fresh rockfish heck try it.
We actually have started cutting to bite size, I deep fry it.

I like the rockfish. I love salmon. Trout is basic fish for me since I grew up eating a lot of it. We angled down by Mcnary Dam. Didn't need a license until 14 so parents or just Mom would take us the couple miles to fish for dinner.
I love the trout too, Steelhead around here. Rainbow trout in CA rivers. I like them both. We are able to get fresh steelhead from time to time either from fishing neighbors, or Fred Meyer. Fred Meyer and Haggen are both great sources of fresh fish. Haggen gets fresh wild caught Icelandic cod. I love that fish.

Deep frying it in a batter might work, but I'm afraid to buy it again. I don't know if I got a bad batch or what, but it tasted and smelled like fish that had been sitting around too long. Haven't tried it since.

It was near Moses Lake. Lots of waterfowl over there which is the problem.

Weird thing, both times I drove down to Castle Rock for my physical therapy I passed big truckloads of meat chickens, looked like white Cornish crosses, all piled up in small transport cages on an open flatbed.

Guess there's a processing facility down south somewhere. I wonder where the farm is that raises them?

Huge Foster Farms facility in Kelso. All those chickens you saw is why I will not buy Foster Farms...plus things I've heard about them.
