Yup sun is showing here 62 heat wave right this time of year.
I have been bringing limbs from the apple tree fell like 3 years ago.
I have loppers in the house a little and bigger one.
I may see more than 3 eggs today?

Sunny here all day. Just had some made from scratch pizza. No ice cream though.

How did you manage to break it? Did I miss that?

Just stepped on an uneven surface, my foot probably bent funny and the ligament pulled off a small piece of bone on the 5th metatarsal. Pain was almost like giving birth. All good, just about. Now I have an upper respiratory infection, aka bad cold, so have had to cancel my appointments this week.

Sad news. We lost Girlie Girl today, my oldest Buff Orpington. She was born April of 2018, so about 7 1/2 years old. Old age is the cause I suppose. Still sad. I have 3 Australorps, Wordie, Birdie and Gertie, who are a year older than her. I keep watching them and wasn't even thinking about losing her. One down, but 3 new ones this year, so the flock goes on.

It's supposed to get up to 65 today and be clear, but it's still pretty foggy right now.

Hey good morning, James has been decorating for Halloween.
Friday is a day to get wet again need to go to town.
Have some chores to do when it is not raining.

I checked the windshield for frost this morning and wasn't any, just wet dew. Tomorrow morning though I expect frost, so today is picking day, squash, tomatoes, beans, all of them.

I planted my fall green beans too late. They just started blooming a week ago so no chance of them producing. I'll pull all of them up too and give the plants to the chickens.

I'll do all the garden work this afternoon after everything dries up. I need to put two habanero pepper plants in pots today too, so I can grow them indoors this winter.
