Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Found in silkie pens today.

Silkies were terrorizing it. Hard time chasing it out. Dumb as a brick.

I've had swordfish just once, pumpkin swordfish that I bought at a seafood shop in St. Augustine FL back in the days I was traveling the country with my RV.
St Augustine would be a perfect place to have it. I'm sure it was excellent.

Mine with the perfect grill marks.

Chick Update: 3 days old now. I really should band them now so I can tell who's who. Notice the one standing sideways that already has wing feathers growing? New Hampshires are know to be fast feathering birds and I think that would be a trait to try to develop in the flock.

They are so cute! They will be some great hens....well, we hope hens, right?

Darn thing just waiting ?

Looked like it killed and ate a red winged blackbird. The silkies tried to off it every time it landed on the ground. It flew into the fence on the end with the bachelor pen. They watched and attacked each time
