Ok, I need practice with the BB pistol. I did hit at least one of the rodents, though. Knocked it sideways, then it got up and ran off...

I wish there was a web site (or software) that allowed you to upload (or choose) a quilt block, and then enter colors/patterns.....I usually print the blocks out & get my color crayons out..................be easier with software, anyone know of such software ???????????????????

Maybe I need to spend a day at Joannes !!!!!!!!!!!!!

(it has been a few years)

Hi CL.... There is software, it's called Electric Quilt. I use it to do just what you're describing. Although it has many blocks already loaded there are still a lot more out there, like many at Quilters Cache But it does let you draft your own blocks. I was wondering why you're putting 2" sashing between the Kristen blocks? Wouldn't you loose the overall design? Since it's paper pieced matching the points should be fairly easy.

I just recently joined BYC. Today I found this thread. My 38th marriage anniversary was last month. I asked to attend this show for the weekend for my gift. Hubby obliged and we will be there! Hoping to find a breeder of excellent reputation to hook up with for RIR. Looking for hens or pullets for my Johnny. Chehalis is a long drive from Whidbey Island. We attended a WFF show back in 1997. I remember seeing a lot of beautiful birds buying a lot of awesome poultry themed books on a sale table. Looking forward to attending again.

YEA! Happy Anniversary!!! I think you picked a great "gift". I hope we can all find a convenient time to gather and make introductions!
Welcome to our thread!

This past spring I saw an online coupon for a window washing company whose company uniform was kilts. I was strongly tempted, but I kind of doubted all their workers looked as good as the guy in the ad. And it would have been difficult to get past the husband. (Plus that sort of thing is all gimmick, so their handsome kilt wearing guy probably can't wash a window to save his life.)

I have 5-6 2 year old potted Wallflowers, if anyone is interested.
Get bigger every year and have spring to deep winter purple blooms.

Getting scraggly & needs to be put in the ground as soon as the house is done...this is Momma plant & is 3 years old.

Bees love this bush.
Maybe could would consider sending some back my way with Julie Sunday??? PALEEEESE

Thus easy to dig in.

As do I, and I'm wondering if you will want a few (dozen?) lilacs for that hedge; the Pink Elizabeth, in particular, has a nice forest of young'uns and a graceful upright growth habit and (oh, goodie, an excuse to put up a picture!) lovely blooms, to whit:

I may have some others- Pres.Grevy and Will Klager are possibles- and t'would be the work of a minute to get them dug and sacked. Any time, no pressure, not as if I can no longer get to the fence on this side or anything...

(This offer open to any and all BYC Washingtonians, these are Lilacs from Hilda Klager Lilac Garden).

Oh darn it! Now I'll have to go out in the morning and look around in vain for an open spot. I still have 2 jostaberries and a witch hazel to plant. I wish I had more than 1/4 acre to plant!
