Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

My DD and I and BF have been discussing getting a dog for the last couple months. Nov 3-4th they had a PetExpo at the Puyallup Fairgrounds. We have been looking at this pup online at the Grant's County Animal Shelter. Luckily they brought him along with many other dogs to the expo and we were able to spend time with him and make our decision!

We now have a new member of our family! His name is Dyson (yes just like the animal vacuum)! He IS a mini vacuum and a big bundle of loving fluff! LOL!!

He and Daffy have had an interesting time together! He is terrified of Daffy!!! We know who the pack leader is around this house!!

I am so happy for you and your man.

I like his name too. If anything happens to my DH, I am going to see if Mr Dyson needs a girl like me. I adore Mr Dyson, and his wonderful machines.

Is there a get together at TotalColor's home tomorrow? Or is it going to be on Saturday? And am I invited?

Slinglings,

If you are looking for plants, I've got some to offer. I have a couple of (Buddelia) butterfly bushes as well, in pots. A lavender and white. I also have a pink in the yard, but it hasn't volunteered. I can try to start some when I prune this winter. I have found that 1 start in 30 will actually grow. They grow like weeds. I grow/prune mine like a small standard, but they are also known as fountain bush. Can be cut to the ground in winter for a small bush look.
I also have 2 Red Prelude Raspberries, 2 Golden Summit Raspberries, and 1 pot of Thimble berries; all in pots, ready to go.
If Itsren and I can get her trees to Renton, I can bring them all into Seattle.

Russ
If things don't work out, I would be interested in the Raspberries, and or the Thimble berries.

I booked the 1:30 exhibit entrance and the 3:30 imax movie.
Do I need to book for the 1:30 entrance also, and the Imax movie? And should I meet up with you at your house first? It would save by taking one car into the city. I don't mind city driving. I used to have a job in the Downtown Seattle area, and I did a lot of driving at that job. :)

Well pettec63 and her DH left a few minutes ago. They dropped off lots of cool goodies for me to make art from AND a couple tanks from CL. The little one of which I already have a plan for.
They let me know when about 10 minutes away So when they got here we had a plate of spaghetti, green beans and garlic bread for each. Hopefully that will get em most of the way home. Then after they left it dawned on me. I should have made some dinner for Taco (their dog).

My husband and I are thinking about getting a dog. I've never been much of a dog person in the sense that I enjoy other people's well mannered dogs, but haven't really considered one for myself (mostly due to not wanting to give up my habit of going barefoot in the yard), but we've talked it over off n on for a while and thought if the right dog came along, we'd go for it. My sister sent me a text this morning, she rescued a 5 or 6 week old pup from a very neglectful living situation and was wondering if we (or someone we know) would want to take her in in a few months after they get her healthy, fixed, trained, and socialized...they just don't want to be the permanent home because they already have a couple of other BIG dogs.

No clue on her breed, so I thought I'd post the pics she sent me here to see if anyone can help ID her and maybe give us some clues. Knowing what she is, how big she'll get, and some breed traits would really help us decide if she'll be a good fit for us. She has blue merle coloring, so I'm almost wondering if she's a pit or lab/aussie mix but I'm not great with my breeds...I hope ya'll can help me figure her out!

I think it is mostly Blue Tick Hound dog. The paws are the size of a large dog. It may not be as big as a hound due to mix.
